I was wondering how you all feel about the economy in Skyrim?
Personally I believe the economy is broken. I have well over 1,000 gold (I am SO happy it is a real item again) and I haven't spent a Septim. It isn't necessary! I have only opened the barter menu once to see what it looked like but i never bought anything! Skyrim so far has given me everything I need through two dungeons or so and a few random bandit raids. The only real thing to spend money on is a horse. Personally I am kind of sad about this. I think if item degradation were in it would seriously help the economy (the main expense for me in both Morrowind and Oblivion) I'm not complaining that it isn't in though. I'm torn about armor degradation it provided serious realism to the game which I loved but also it was as I said the number one expense for me in previous titles... but back to the main point.
How do you feel about the economy and necessity to trade in Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim?
