Elder Scroll Weight

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 2:27 pm

First things first, new to the forums, not entirely sure if this is the right place to put this, so feel free to re-direct me to either another post, or the proper category.

Problem, they need to get rid of the elder scroll weight, If you have completed the Dawnguard DLC, it leaves you with 3 elder scrolls each with a weight of 20...
I dont know about you all, but i hate having 60 pounds worth of stuff in my inventory at all times, that i cant get rid of because even after the quest is completed they keep their status as quest items.

I agree, either allow us to store them (for people who don't want to sell them) or make them weigh much less.

They weigh nothing; even though it says it weighs 20, it in fact has no weight. You can sell them or give them to a certain someone if you don't want to lug them around though. Verify my initial statement by saving before you sell and checking your carry weight.

One thing you can do with the scrolls from Dawnguard is sell them back to the blind monk for 6000 gold pieces. This might help.

It seems the only way to get rid of them is to sell them, you cannot store sadly which is a shame since I myself would prefer to store them than sell them

I am keeping mine because before Dawnguard I had a inkling we would use them again, so just in case I am keeping my regardless of the weight.

They don't actually count toward your encumbrance despite having a listed weight. Being unable to remove quest items is absolute [censored] and an annoying bit of needless hand-holding. I want to be able to display certain items as trophies, dammit (Scrolls, Lexicons, et cetera)!

I was so happy when I finally got my Elder Scroll, it was well worth the weight :disguise:

The Elder Scrolls weigh nothing. They're Quest items.

They weigh nothing. I'm very OCD about keeping my carry weight freed up, so trust me, I can honestly say the weight stat is misleading there :D
