Dont get me wrong there are nice people on the elder scrolls forum but I feel like the people on the fallout forum are so much nicer and more friendly.... Post in comments if you disagree with a reason why I wanna see what peoples opinions are.

THe only reason people are more "dikeish: in the Skyrim forums is becuse its a newer game that is still releaseing content. Give it time and it will be the same as every other part of the forums.

The latest Fallout game came out a while ago, so the forum has had time to 'settle down'. Most of the ramblers have gone and the majority of people there are probably interested in thoughtful discussion.

Skyrim however only came out last year, so the Elder Scrolls forum is still a bit swamped by random people who joined when Skyrim came out, often who either lack internet manners or just enjoy acting like hoons.

Just give it a bit of time and the Elder Scrolls forums will go back to their usual friendly state occasonally interrupted by aggressive and violent arguments over whether Oblivion or Skyrim are better than Morrowind.

I think the issue I have with the Fallout forums is the very apparent split. Sure, in TES forums you get the "Morrowind4Evar" group, who demand that anything that's not Morrowind 2.0 is utter drivel; you get people who enjoy every game, and you get people who'll blindly defend Skyrim and call previous games horrible. But generally people get on okay. The Fallout forums seem very "us" and "them" with Pre Fallout 3 + NV and the Fallout 3 crowds.

Oh I'm not saying just Skyrim forums I just mean like I'll go on Morrowind and ask a simple question and get hounded with haters because I didn't understand "a simple part of the story"

The Elder Scrolls forum isn't really unfriendly, I just get bored at times and make extra accounts, I then use these extra accounts to argue with myself, a man needs his hobbies you know.

I beg to differ. I've met some of the most arrogant, close minded and rude people on this forum there.

Thank you but we like to think of ourselves as one big family and it's pretty well known that the latest released game section if often the most unruly and the reason why should be obvious. More people with current interest, the more diversified the section.

That said, we don't do threads that pit one forum against another or one section against another because it only serves to divide our community. And regardless of what section you are in, if someone is flaming, bashing, baiting, trolling or just rude, please report them because we have the same rules throughout this site. Thank you.
