Elder Scrolls Online on the Wii U?

Post » Mon Nov 19, 2012 10:13 am

Hello. I am a console gamer. That said, I saw the recent video of Elder Scrolls Online and was blown away. It sounds like an amazing game.

That said, I probably won't buy a new computer to play it. I don't have the money and I prefer playing games on consoles.

However, what about the Wii U? Is a release on the Wii U a possibility? Last I heard, MMO developers came out publicly and stated that the Wii U would be a great platform for MMOs because of the touch-screen capabilities. Imagine your entire hot-bar of skills and abilities on the touch screen of the Wii U. It would probably work out well.

So has anyone heard anything, any rumors or anything about a Wii U release? I would buy a Wii U so fast if this game to that platform!

Wouldn't get my hopes up. As far as I know things such as MMOs should be on one platform only. Unless they want to split up the population in two, cause you can't have one part playing on one console and another part playing another as everyone should play on equal terms.

Don't know much about the Wii U personally, but yeah; I don't see it being released on anything but PC and Mac.

I guarantee 100% that ESO will not be ported to any consoles.

There isn't even going to be an Xbox or Ps3 release, it's just PC and Mac,

Would be funny though, combat would probably end up trashing your lounge.

Why specifically the Wii-U?

I think they have more chance of making a profit on the game consoles that have over 70 million units sold - EACH. Especially game consoles that have had YEARS of programming on that have nearly the exact same horsepower/engine as the Wii-U.

Considering it's basically the same/similar hardware as the PS3/X360, if they did make a console version they would simply port the Xbox/PS3 version at some later date.
