Eldersblood Peak glitch?

Post » Tue May 15, 2012 12:24 pm

First rather annoying glitch I have encountered (17 hours in) besides the texture issues. Up the mountain to the south of Morthal is Eldersblood Peak, where a Dragon is protecting a word wall. I have destroyed the Dragon a number of times, after reloading, but no matter where or how it dies, it fails to decompose. The word wall works fine, but after a great battle I find it disappointing that my Dragon won't reward me with its soul. Anyone else encountered this? (Or is willing to give it an attempt)?

Edit: Forgot to mention, the Dragon is also failing to breathe fire...

I was doing the same quest, and on the way up there, I encounter a dragon that won't give me it's soul. There's a second dragon nearby, but it won't attack me. The one I fought was happy to breathe fire, but no matter how I killed it, it wouldn't decompose or give up it's soul. I wonder if it's that quest in particular?
