Elevations in Relation to Sea Level

Post » Wed Feb 20, 2013 5:57 pm

I've been wondering for quite some time now, but what has really made me curious lately, due to not fast-traveling at all, is the arduous climbs and extreme descents i have made in the process of journeying from point A to point B. So I'm curious if there are any references available that I could take a look at. Links work great. But if anyone wants to share specifics, please feel free.

One thing for sure is there are definitely some vast differences in elevations throughout Skyrim.

Any input is much appreciated and thank you beforehand.

This probably isn't what you're looking for but here's a kind of thermal-imaging-style topographical map of Skyrim: http://news.povray.org/povray.binaries.images/attachment/%3C507bf848@news.povray.org%3E/skyrim%20shaded%20relief%20low.jpg

I wasn't able to find anything that measured units of height above sea level. It might be possible to check that in the Creation Kit though. I might take a look and see what I can find there.
