I told Emily to go back to her own room after she woke me up during The Royal Physician (or after it, whatever)... Well, she says she saw a ghost in the old tower, and in her words, it had 'weird black eyes'. Possibly the Outsider? Can't see it being anyone else, or just a random line. Maybe the Outsider is messing with Emily somehow.

Wow, that's a cool little detail. Must be the outsider.

Also, if you listen to the audiolog in the secret room at Dunwall Tower, the Empress implies that Emily has 'powers.'

If there isn't a sequel to this game.. at least let there be something to tell us who the Outsider really is! How did he get to where he is now? Why choose Corvo, Emily, Daud, etc?

My theory on it is that The Outsider is the 21st century programmer who created the world and everything and everyone in it.

She's having bad dreams, too. I do think that Emily is visited by the Outsider as Corvo is. Maybe it's because of him- Piero's recording says that it seems Corvo brought a bit of the Void with him to the Hound Pits.

Not everything has to be CHIM.

The source of all magic in the world, e.i. God and the Void is "the end of all things and the beginning".
