So I heard about Hearthfire and decided to fire up Skyrim since I hadn't played in a while. I enchanted a couple of items and the value of them didn't increase, not one gold coin. Is this a bug or did they nerf enchanting with an update?

What items did you enchant and with what enchantments?

I enchanted a silver ring with fortify conjuration and restoration. i cant remember the strength of the spell, somewhere between 108%-198%. but the ring was worth 30 before the enchantment and it was still 30 afterwards. i dont enchant for money since I already have a good bit of gold, but I just thought it was odd. Although if I do start a new game the money from enchanting would be helpful when starting out.

Try selling it.

I bet it's worth more than that, but you just can't see the extended numbers. I'm assuming you used the alchemy loop exploit, yes? That can quickly raise the value of items beyond typical frame boundaries.
