Apologies if this has been done to death, but didn't find a similar thread with a quick search.

With my last character I leveled up in enchanting quite a bit primarily using stuff I enchanted myself and so tried to put some thought into names for my enchanted items:

Ember - steel sword with fire damage - 1st weapon I enchanted as soon as I found a filled petty soul gem

Black Star - ebony dagger with fire damage

Ahtar's Mercy - ebony battleaxe with absorb health to replace the axe I took from him

Aubade and Two Moons - paired scimitars with fire damage and soul trap

Splinter - wooden sword with lightning damage

Ice - Skyforge greatsword with frost damage - named after Ned Stark's sword

Sleight of Hands - gloves with fortify magicka



Do you name the items you enchant? Give us your best names.

When I play a dragonborn character I always tend to name my main weapon "Alduin's bane" and pretend that it grows in power like Umbra.

For the rest of some things:
I named every piece of a dragonscale/dragonbone armor after the named dragons in Skyrim.

And I tend to named them with references like:

Daedric Sword with fire damage - Flameseeker
Dwemer enchanced crossbow with dual frost and electric damage - Vera
Dwemer twohanded sword with fiery soul - Tyrfing
Daedric sword with soul trap - Soul Reaver

And for the last a little reference:

The only one I ever named was a Daedric warhammer that was enchanted with drain stamina. It was called "Weakgiver". Haha.

My Glass armor/jewelry is called Sylvan (Insert piece name here). My Bow is called Eclipse. The daggers I use are called Scorpion and Phoenix. - Archer

My Ebony armor/jewelry is called Sentinel (Insert piece name here). My sword doesn't have a name because I used elemental fury. The Shield is called Shadow Bastion. - Warrior
