Is Enchanting or Alchemy more viable for a warrior?

Post » Fri May 11, 2012 2:05 pm

I was reading on another forum some guy doing Enchanting with a warrior character and getting insane bonus's like +70% damage etc, but the crappy part is i don't even have enough mana to cast the consume soul (is that what its called forget?) id need to level 3 times to get enough magicka to do that.... and that's taking away 30 health / stamina from me just for that, do you think its worth it? Or is it just more viable to use potions all the time?

Find a piece of gear with + mana on it and use that while you gather souls.

I ran around in heavy armor with a novice mage helm (+30 magika). I think thats enough but there are better helms that give more mana.

I prefer alchemy for my warriors. The potions always pay off. It also seems better from an rpg point of view if I'm playing a warrior. Alchemy also helps pay the bills. 100% profit from it.

You're better of specialising. You get level point for armor depending on how much of it you wear. So if you have a full set of heavy armour you will level heavy armour faster then if you had half and half.

I actually just buy a lot of Petty Soul Gems that already have souls in them, but if you want to catch your own souls, enchant a weapon with Soul Trap 1 second. You should get several thousand hits with that weapon before needing to recharge it.

I got a sword with soul capture on it early on. I think it was 3 seconds. I disenchanted it later and put it on a better sword for 7 seconds. I also have the black star now so I always have the hightst ranked soul in my inventory
