There really is no point on going Dragon if you're using Heavy Armor afterall, unless you want to save 13 weight in detriment of 10-13 armor. It almost looks like Dragon Armor is just the Daedric equivalent for the Light Armor side, and they just linked it to Heavy because they thought the final perk in the tree should be Dragon related for both sides.
