I'm curious, if you end a companionship, do they stand where they were "Fired", do they go back to where they were when you first found them.

Or do they just poof into the ether?

I'm curious becouse if I want to swap companion I guess I'd have to leave the one I currently got, which if I wanted to get him/her back, it could be a bit hard if I didnt know where to look

They either head back to where you found them or they hang out in the Lucky 38 Presidential Suite if you have unlocked it already. Raul is the only one who will not return to his original spot. Instead, he hads to his own shack, but I have no idea where it is since I've never dismissed him.

Glad to see they added a group gathering place if you have a home. It kinda make you feel like your building your own wasteland gang.
