      I came across an interesting study some time last year.  Basically it said that chocolate milk provides as much energy as "energy drinks," but lacks the crash afterwards.
Myself, I rarely drink energy drinks.  I did once in a while when I had to pull an all-nighter to finish up projects and such, but even then not very often.
