Energy Transfer VS Nano Recharge

Post » Mon Jul 25, 2011 10:23 am

I was just thinking about how the third upgrade of energy transfer is glitched and how it never actually recharges your full suit energy to full (C'mon Crytek!) Would it be more beneficial for a mobility class to use nano recharg 22 which (if imnot mistaken) recharges health and energy quicker?

..............
..............you guys realize it steals the energy your opponent had before you like, killed him?
so if your only getting half that means he had half energy in his bar when he got killed.

No it only gives you 50% according to http://denkirson.xanga.com/742784256/crysis-2/
"Full energy recharge" must be a LIE :O

Nano Recharge is superior anyway, it recharges your energy just as fast as using Energy Transfer plus it recharges you health too so that's a bonus, Nano recharge 3 makes you pretty much unstoppable

Although on the other hand if you want to be Stealth Jackal/Marshall whore you're better off with Energy Transfer
IDK about using the feline but I don't use stealth with the feline anyway

I think its a combo of all of the above to some degree. It doesn't relate to enemy energy but it has been nerfed. What they nerfed was the time for the energy to recharge, if you use stealth or run, it interupts the recharge and you don't get the full amount of energy. This is the complication most of you are probably noticing.

Your the only one LOL. But good 4 you. lol.

Anywhoozle Im going to start using nano recharge instead and ill see what happens to my K/D Im going to post a video commentary on the topic (if anyone actually watches those) Cause I think that this is a very important topic.

If nano recharge speeds up energy recovery than you're losing the ability to go stealth immediately after a kill which I do ALOT. But on the other hand, with E.T the way it is, it's like we're only getting half of a module you know....

Nano recharge is two modules in one, Health and Energy refills.

Exactly, Nano Recharge is very awesome. From discussing with a lot of people;

Energy Transfer is superior when:
1.) You constantly get 20+ kills in a round
2.) You are hitting zero energy all the time
3.) You use nano vision

Nanorecharge is superior when:
1.) You never hit zero energy.

I think they lowered the speed of nano recharge for energy regain, but its only slightly slower than Energy transfer's gain.

Yeap, when energy reaches zero we have a 1.5 second (with NR) delay to restore.

You may mean "Feline", if I am not mistaken.

Because as I've already stated, running around outside stealth with a shotgun, is like having a "Free kill!" sign above your head for folks far away.
Though yes, point taken. It would probably be better.

And to be honest, energy transfer is just annoying.
Though I can say, Nano Recharge 2 is more than worth having.

As unlike energy transfer, it loads your energy up really fast outside of risky energyless combat.
I should know, since I'm ye olde shotgunner. And you all know what that means..

Try playing with minimal stealth then, see how you go
