Anyway, I've been playing an Illusion Mage build just now and was thinking about how I sometimes spend a bunch of time trying to locate a particular person in Skyrim. I think it would be cool to have a list of people that grows as you meet new people. The ones who are dead or unavailable can be listed but not selectable. Then you can have a new type of Clairvoyance spell, different from the original one. Enhanced Clairvoyance or Scrying is what I might call it. You would have to assign a secondary function to the spell in the form of selecting a person from the list of people you've met (I believe they made this work with secondary functions of some weapons in Oblivion, IIRC). Once you've assigned a name to the spell, when you cast it you get the magical aura leading you to them. I don't really know if it would work in Skyrim's game mechanics, but I do know I've been trying to hunt down Drevis Neloren and can't bloody well find him, lol.
