Spoilers ahead!

So I'm about to enter the Soul Cairn as a Dawnguard memeber, and to do that I need to be either a vampire or being soul trapped (which will weaken me in the Soul Cairn).

I don't really care about how it turns out gameplay wise, but I'm really concerned what results these options will have on me and my character's story. I'm leaning against being Soul Trapped, but I need to know more about the option before I make a decision.

WITHOUT SPOILING ANYTHING MORE, can you please tell me the answers to these questions:



* If I become soul trapped, will my character permanently loose his soul (even in Nirn)? Will I regain the soul at some point?

*In what way will I be weaker.

* Will my character be permanently affected by the effect of the Soul Trap effect or will something (no spoiler) happen so that I will regain my strength and be able to enter the Soul Cairn as a living?

* If I become a vampire, will the Dawnguard cast me out or can I keep my position as a member?

* Will I be given a chance to remove the vampirism?

* Will I at any point be able able to enter the Soul Cairn without having to be either soul trapped or being a vampire (at the end of the questline maybe?)

1)you have an option to regain(misc quest)

2)Magicka+stamina+health will be -45.

3)see 1

4)they'll tell you to cure yourself

5)yes,talk to innkeepers about rumors.

6)no.

There's no permant results that you can't fix/cure.

But one last question though:

* In the end, if I choose either of the options and then get cured/fixed, will I be locked out of the Soul Cairn? In the end of the questline, will I be able to enter the Soul Cairn even though I have cured my vampirism?

You'd eaither have to ask serana to turn your or cast soul trap(curing and becoming a vampire has infinite amount of uses)

You can always talk to Falion and cure yourself of vampirism. I went with vampirism because i certainly dont want to be permanently weakened

But i remember there's an item called philter of the phantom,it's temporarily and there's only 2 but that's the only thing that does it.

I think so but don't take my word for it. While you are inside you ask if its possible to return, and they say you can.

But if you need to find this out its easy to test. Save the game before curing yourself of vampirism, head back to the cairn and see if you can re-enter.
