Role-playing to the max. Well, at least playing to the max level that is.

A new TES won't, however, come out in at least 4 years.

I'd rather see continued add-on support for Skyrim, maybe a full fledged expansion.

Don't be so hopeful about fallout 4. I'm pretty upset I'm going to have to go from New vegas to a dumbed down, casual Fallout 4 which is sure to come :(

Why choose, when you can have both?

Because games always sell better when there's no changes and every sequel is a carbon copy of the previous ones, right?

Call of duty. :whistling:

Fallout 4 won't be the same as fallout 3 or fallout NV though. There's much potential for a great combat system for that game, with dual-wielding and true stealth game-play with viable melee weapon assassinations. Just got to get the core RPG element right, as well as character choise and consequence right, and there's a very great game.

Fallout 4 might do fine, they just need to hand off the story and character creation/development to Obsidian.

Beth can handle level creation (as they generally do a good job with level design) and neither of them do bug testing/engine work, so doesnt matter.

Well, seeing as Skyrim was almost the same as FO3, yes. FO4 with multiplayer FTW!!!

It's because Obsidian know how to write compelling stories and design a well balanced game whereas Bethesda are really good at creating nice environments, but have no writing ability at present. This presents a big problem for a franchise that is supposed to be about story driven games.

This would be great, but unfortunately it won't happen. Instead we'll be stuck with the people who gave us a giant robot.

Oh come on man don’t start tearing me down so early in the game.
Beth will get Obsidian writers to help and everything will be flawless…they will…they have to…right?

You could see a lot of inspiration in Skyrim world design from FONV. So perhaps we’ll also see inspiration for quest design in FO4.

BGS started on Skyrim after Fallout 3, which was around 2008 so Skyrim was in development for 3 years.

So, still a fantastic game? Just buggy?

On topic though, this game is indeed epic. However, have you tried making a new character? Or perhaps do that once you get to level 80.
