Of those of you that read the books 1st how much of this movie were you able to watch ?

I got to the point when Saphira flew away and then came back fully grown before going NO and changing the channel (cuz was aired on TV)

prior to that point I was going "Wasn't in the book imagined Roran to have black hair and have his own look, not look like Eragon's older twin

Was kinda surprised they casted the Sheriff from the Robin Hood Show thing to play Galbatorix

Sadly I saw the film before reading the books.
Been a long while since I read them (think I was about 9 ) but I remember that they were really, really good

I've seen about as much as you of the movie. It made me sad that they managed to ruin the books with such a terrible film.

the books are not ruined just ever hasing them made into film is .-.

why didn't the makers of LotR make this movie instead .-.
