Hey guys this is my first post and i really need your help with this problem which is causing me a headache:

I recruited Erik the slayer as a follower, gave him full daedric armor, daedric sword and bow included, used him as a follower for over 10 hours of gameplay and then i went to the companions place to complete their questline. Vilkas needed to be my follower at that part so Erik had to go back to Rorikstead, he left my service. I finished the companions questline and then came back to Rorikstead but when i checked at the inn Erik wasnt anywhere to be found.

Do you have any idea of where could he be?

"Erik may occasionally be found beside the road close to GJukar's monument for unknown reasons. Hireing and dismissing Erik on these occasions will cause him to return to Rorikstead".

Funny thing that you gave him daedric armor but this guy is pure light armor archer/2 hander guy. But anyways. hope that helps

My search for Erik was a total failure, i checked everywhere near Gjukar's monument and he was nowhere to be found. He couldnt just have dissapeared right?

1) Did you check Jorvaskir? This is where he would have left your service, correct? He might be stuck there for some reason.
2) It's possible, however unlikely, that he may have been killed somewhere on his journey back to Rorikstead. Followers should make it back to home locations safely usually, unless they happen to be in the same game cell as you and get killed by something without you realizing it.

Those were the first things I thought when i couldnt find him. He isnt in Jorvaskr, and im afraid he isnt dead. I made the whole journey from Whiterun to Rorikstead, and I found a mercenary, a thief, a breton and a vampire (along with a lot of sabercats) that tried to kill me, but apart from that i couldnt find Erik nor his body or any trace of him. In case he died is there any place where i can see his grave to be sure that he died? like a hall of the dead or something?

I had to go to Gjukars monument, found the nearest road and followed it to the west (going to whiterun), found an old orc that wanted me to kill it, an argonian thief AND M'aiq the liar, all in the same place! So weird. After that I kept following the road until I saw a sillhouette. That was Erik, though i didn't think it was him at first because for some strange reason I thought that he wouldnt be with his default armor but with the daedric armor that I gave him. I finally got to him, sent a message to a friend through Xbox Live saying that I finally found him, and changed his armor for a dragonscale one (Gave his old daedric armor to J'zargo ). So yeah i can finally kill some monsters with the real life inspired Erik the Slayer .
