Erroneous "starting armor" bug : Othor Games

Erroneous "You can't take your teammate's starting armor" message.

On two occasions I have experienced the subject bug, wherein an armor item recently added to my follower's (Lydia's) inventory cannot be subsequently retrieved. In each of the two occurrences I added items to Lydia's inventory (via trade or via command to take item), fast-travelled to Whiterun, and then entered Breezehome. I then attempted to retrieve the items via trade, only to receive the "You can't take your teammate's starting armor" message as a response.

The first time, I could not retrieve any Forsworn armor but (as I recall) could retrieve other armor items.

The 2nd time, I could not retrieve any armor item.

I presume that this is a bug and not a game feature intended to encourage dismissal of a teammate.

Please advise.

I wish more people would actually look and see that this forum is for The Elder Scrolls ONLINE, not The Elder Scrolls series. Not sure why so many people think this is the Skyrim forum. I don't want to sound abrupt or rude, but really, it's grating on me.

This is the ESO forum but it's really super easy to click on the Report button on the OP and request the moderators move it to the Skyrim forum.

Wrong section. But on the note of ESO hopefully that won't happen in ESO.
