Hello, so I have FO3 on my other computer it had Windows 8.1, it worked fine, but when I try it on this computer, I have windows 8.1, i get this error:

The ordinal 5355 could not be located in the dynamic link library

E:\Steam\steamapps\common\Fallout 3\Fallout3.exe

Notes:

I have xlive.dll, that is not the problem.

Fallout New Vegas works just fine

Specifications of my System:

Windows 8.1

GTX 750 Ti

Intel i5

Follow the steps in the sticky. You need to install the latest Games for Windows Live client. You do not need to run it.

New Vegas does not use Games For Windows Live at all. FO3 I think only used it for some of the DLC's.
