I apologize if this is already a thread. I did look, but honestly not very hard. Anyway i recieved an invite to the beta and when i try to play it gives me this error....Error initializing D3D9 device: Shader Model 3.0 is required. Now i've already contacted them about it, but has anyone else had this problem? Perhaps maybe even know how to fix it? Is it as simple as upgrading my video card? Thanks for any help/tips!

You should have received instructions with your invite on the correct place to post help requests.

You really shouldn't be posting anything about the beta here. But it sounds like you don't meet the minimum requirements with regards to your graphics card. Suggest you ask in the correct place for a more definitive answer.

whoa whoa whoa, ok i get it i screwed up big time...but all you did was link me to the support team which i've already contacted numerous times and they really haven't been able to help. All i was trying to do was see if anyone could help, i didn't post anything at ALL about anything in the beta seeing as how i can't play because as i mentioned i get an error. It's my fault for not reading clearly but it was an honest mistake and i just wanted some help.

No one can help you here. This is not the Beta forums. Read the email in which you received your invite all you need is there.
