So I was bored and decided to check stuff out on google maps or whatever. Eventually I found my way to checking out Detroit from sky view and street view, and holy crap, is it bad. I just started looking through the streets at random, and what I found resembles scenes from movies like I am Legend, Mad Max, Escape from New York and so on.

So I decided to make a whole thread dedicated to sharing pictures of "post apocalyptic Detroit", basically just try to find the most run down things you can in the city of Detroit using google maps and share them here.

Wow, watching that video is pretty intense. Makes you think you could see some zombies, or some raiders at any second. If you ever need to hide a dead body, just throw it in any abandoned house in Detroit and you're fine.

Just watching part 4 of that video, it shows more inside of these wiped out buildings. Some of those places look like they could have some crazy cannibals or some cults in them, haha. Props to this dude for having the balls to walk through these ruins, I know I wouldn't without a big [censored] gun.

On a side note. Any future movies set in post apocalyptic times need not pay anyone to shoot any scenes. Just come to Detroit and shoot for free.

I kind of want to see the New Robocop Movie take place in this area, it would be more realistic

They were selling houses in Detroit in Australia, the photos of the properties on sale had alot of photoshop work done on them, they did a drive down one street were they were selling houses and showing the picture then the real house, it was bad enough that the street looked like the ruins of a German city after it had been hit by incendiaries.
