ESO @ E3 2013

Well, there podium day is on Thursday, and they have 3 interviews lined up for tomorrow. But I don't expect much from any of those because everyone is just going to keep asking them the say questions about the console port over.

Glad he at least cleared up the beta exclusivity.

What stage show? Do you have any source or information about that?

hmmmm, that could be good an bad, I really hope they go open beta, or open up the beta with a lot more invites.

From that gameplay it looked really similar to a skyrim style gameplay and even graphics wise, I can't see it in person so I can't comment that much but from the video it doesn't look that bad, I hope the extra time allows them to really fine tune the game

I asked the day / night cycles question. Sorry if this disappointed anyone, but it's a major deal to me.

This is a shame really. They announced the ESO coming for PS4 and Xbox One just for not saying what subscription model is...

Congrats on getting a question through. I had asked about weather, but it was not answered. I think the answer provided about day/night had a interesting response.

The longer they wait the more it's going to break their neck, one way or another. They will either alienate the P2P or the F2P crowd which up to that point was looking forward to the game.

/edit: After rewatching the new footage, I noticed that the Dwemer centurion spheres (possibly Rourken) looked quite different from the other ones. It seems even the automatons have a different style depending on the Dwemer clan. Good work, ZOS!

check gametrailer.com I think they might have it somewhere that is where I watched it but it was live feed.

Has anyone seen the Spark game demo, where you create everything about the game... I wonder if Bethesda would consider purchasing that software to use in the next TES VI to use as far as the creation kit goes, I mean with PC everything would remain the same, but they could implement that technology with the new TES game on consoles to establish a form of the creation kit, it's difficult but if that game is allowed to do it then why can't Skyrim or the TES VI use that technology

Too bad that was already known as a fact. The recent buffed interview with paul sage said there would be one of 6 hours per cycle.

I didn't just ask whether there'd be one. I asked if they could elaborate on the differences between night and day.

"Will there be dragons?"

I almost cried. That was painful.

lol, yeah, seriously come on.

After watching the interview I'm still just kind of meh. I admit to having a very knee-jerk reaction, but that was just because we weren't given any honesty from the start. I'll still buy the game, but while I hope its an actual MMO I have little faith in it actually being one. I still want to know payment model to know for sure, and I want to know where the line is drawn on the console war leaking over to the PC version. If the exclusivity crap rears its ugly head it's going to spell doom.

And if there will be dragons of course.

Everybody wants to hear a word about that finally.

Actually, I haven't really followed this game much. I'm guessing dragons aren't in based on your post?

The dragons in TESO's time period were flung into the future for Skyrim or some junk I don't know. I don't care what they say now, you can almost bet your sweet ass Jack Bauer that there will be a dragon to kill or talk to somewhere in the gameworld eventually.

OnlyAlduin was flung forward. The rest were slain or went into hiding. There are living dragons in this time period, they are just extremely well hidden.
