I want to see how people opinions on P2P would be effected by ESO's outcome in the not to distant future.

please don't entertain this type of thinking, its not healthy. instead we should be looking at what to expect in success, not failure.

I believe p2p is a valid option. My wife and I have been paying subs the past six years without much of a break. While its tragic what happened to swtor put such a doubt on the model; and its awesome how well gw2 is doing w/o it, I believe it's the best option for an es game.

My money goes to my daughter, and then video games. When we find one we like we stick to it,even if it has a sub. Fun is worth it to pay for.

I agree,It's P2P and will be for a while.Lets talk about what is and what is not in the game and what we all will be focusing on once the game is released.

If ESO drops sub model in one year then it only means "ESO dropped sub model in one year" like the sub based MMOs before that suffered the same fate.

Didn't stop ZOS from starting an ambitious project & it won't stop the next ambitious MMO developers.

Edit: Also if it held for the next five years then it honestly won't be saying anything that WoW hasn't already said. All it will do is make P2P critics look stupid like WoW is doing at the moment.

Maybe I wouldn't be getting this reaction if the title character limit wasn't shorter then a fortune cookie, then I could've fit a lessed biased title in.
