In ES the player mostly appears to be an incarnation of 'someone' or a kind of Imperial Champion

The player has a specific function within the thinking of the Empire

I am wondering what the player's place in ESO will be - how does history see him - are there any prophesies about him?

Suggestions to date sound a bit spooky - is this window dressing or has it a real place and function?

I'd rather ask how does history see them.
I hate it when MMOs try to make you believe you're the only hero doing the main quest.

There is a prophecy about him. It was told in "Journey to Coldharbour" -video if I remember correctly.
