I heard from a friend who is more into Elder Scrolls than myself that the pricing units for ESO would be $59.99 for the base game which comes with one free character that the player can play with and that each additional character that the player wanted could be purchased for $9.99 a month. I am here to ask is there any truth about this at all. Personally it sounded reasonable but I wanted to know if this was the case or if prices were different or had even been talked about.
It's false, but interesting, and I'd hate it. TES' strong point has always been its replayability, and now they'd want me to pay 80€ / month just to play every race? No thanks.
Needs a slight modification. 1 buy to play character as stated in OP. Additional 9.99 a month unlocks unlimted other characters. That seems like a pretty reasonable model to me personally.

That I could get behind, but I don't see why they would do it.
