So I tried using the forum search, but my Search-Fu is weak here

I'm not too savvy about TES lore; I only know the basics. So can someone enlighten me about where ESO is supposed to fall time-wise with respect to the lore, and/or previous TES games? I thought there was a forum post about this, but I can't find it.
