ESO

Hey

I'm new to the forums and used thed search to try and find more about crafting/housing and pve servers. But I must say its sweeeeet to see a ESO being made in time for my new gaming rig. Has anyone heard anything more about crafting or housing and the size of the world. Is ESO sandbox or themepark and how many gamers are expected to sub too the sweet mmo.

The best resource to get you up to speed is here: http://elderscrollsonline.com/en/news/post/2012/10/24/dive-into-the-eso-preview-event-coverage. Many of your questions have been either discussed on the forums or already addressed in interviews. Off the top of my head...a new gaming rig is unnecessary as anything in the last 5 years will be able to run it according to devs. Player housing is on the list of things to be implemented, but may not happen by launch. It is a themepark MMO. Haven't paid much attention to crafting, honestly, but I know it is a priority and is encouraged. You'll be able to pick up crafting materials in cities.

This is themepark. This article probably answer some of your questions: http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/821/feature/6855/21-Things-You-Should-Know-About-ESO.html/page/1

Soul Gems are back, and will take a significant role in the form of crafting and enhancing items. They were usable in our build, but we were told they were still very much Work in Progress. (Hopefully they work just like in Skyrim!)

Crafting materials are everywhere and you’ll find them in barrels, shelves, boxes, and so forth just as you would in any TES game. You can steal from homes, and possibly even NPCs. Which leads us to. (This sounds kinda cool, they've said crafing is truly extensive, it sure looks like it.)

Housing coming post-launch. It won’t make the release day, but the devs were sure to remind us that it will come after launch and is a priority of theirs.

Btw, they've said theres 120 hour of content thats per faction/alliance I assume, so safe to say zones are absolutely huge.

Or if you want to listen to the feedback from Alpha testers with dev input ( they went on spot to play it  ) : http://elderscrollsotr.mymiddleearth.com/category/podcasts/

44 , 43 and ESO Event podcasts are a must to listen.

There will be crafting, and there will be --although not right at launch-- housing. That's all we know so far.
