It's a difference between just playable and enjoyable, and it all comes down what you expect in terms of graphics.

Did upgrade my GPU as well just lately (gtx780) because of TESO... and hope it will handle TESO on high/ultra settings on a 2560x1440 monitor I plan to buy soon... hoping for a stable framerate of 60 FPS. Like most MMOs, TESO will probably very much depend on the CPU as well.

Even that is over kill, but I guess it depends on your resolution.

I'm pretty sure that your gtx 550ti will be sufficient for high/ultra settings on 720p (had a 570 for 1080p before and Skyrim was running very well)... and I actually hope that the gtx780 is overkill Didn't purchase it only for TESO, but it was the main reason in mind...

I would like to find how well my system can run at 4800 x 900 res multi-monitor with crossfire of ATI 7800 series cards.... I wonder if ESO supports that or not....

I use mt plasma 720p for my monitor as well. I built my rig and picked up that goofy tweaked 560ti thing with the 448 core. It supposed to be like a 570 only a bit cheaper at the time. Not sure if I made a good choice or not as finding another to run duals will be hard as they were limited IIRC.

Either way, it runs everything I can throw at it. With the exceptions of high end ENBs, of course. I have a lot of overclocking room to go, if I wanted to but haven't had the need.

Shouldn't need to spend more than 400$ to see max settings on ESO, or the majority of graphics intensive game for that matter. Being a mmo I would expect you to need a nice CPU not a gpu

Unless they allow an unlimited render distance slider, there will be no need for such power, as others have stated.

I think there is a American Express Titanium card, it's actually made out of metal and I have seen people use it before in the restaurant I worked at when I was a waiter. It's for high rollers like people who have $1 mil + account transactions or something.

Well, let me tell you, don't just get it for ESO that would be a bit short sighted, get it for it's amazing quality and pretty much bombproofing having to get an upgrade for at least five years. I got one direct from NVidia OEM off Ebay for $800 and OMG is it amazing, the smoothest piece of mofo gpu I've had ever. Everything else has to catch up to it . . . . I'm not even overclocking it yet! Fits my small form factor mATX comp like a champ with room for . . . gasp . . . another Titan in SLI (if I ever wanted). I don't want to sound like an elitist bioootch, but if you can snag one at a lower than retail price . . . do it. Ugh, I'm so inlove with it =P
