Eucilids c-finder : Fallout: New Vegas

i just got the quest to take the c-finder to the brotherhood elder
but when i get there i have no option to give him it. :banghead:
has anyone else experienced this problem!
[censored] it bethesda cant you spend more time on fixing glitches !!!

I think you have to have done the Lucky Old Sun quest at Helios One and activated Archimedes as well. C-finder no good without weapon it's firing. And have Veronica with you

keep it for yourself to use. i didnt fire it up the first time but if i want i can go back and set the power to archimedes and its all ready to use.

I don't think you are supposed to take it. I think it is one of three choices which you choose but Veronica takes.

Kept getting overwhelmed taking on Camp Golf because my character had no sneak skill whatsoever. So I waited until the middle of the day when just about every NCR grunt is gathered in the middle of the tents, and finally fulfilled their request for a nuclear winter...

If you take Euclid's C-Finder before you get Veronica's quest to find it (or one of the other two items) then the C-Finder cannot be used to fulfill the quest (because you can't find it if you already have it). You then have no choice in Veronica's quest, you must find one of the other two items.
