Sorry I should have been more specific, what I mean was that in Oblivion you could cut through the mountains and get to a city in two minutes, where in Skyrim it's a lot harder to traverse the terrain.
Cool that is what I am looking for.
To clarify, would you say the path to get around is linear or is it easy to wonder off and get lost without hitting “obstacle terrain”? I.e. can I stray from a path in the woods and still have a lot of forest to explore until I hit a mountain that is tough to pass over?
Also, although it is tough to traverse the terrain, is it possible? I.e. when I come to that mountain that is hard to pass over, can I indeed climb it to get around it?
One last thing, when exploring, say if you were to want to climb a mountain as Todd points out in the demo, do you find your own path or is there paths laid out for the mountains?
Thank you for taking you time to share your experiences.
