Even IF the new Patch works, Bethesda should give free Skyri

Post » Wed May 16, 2012 6:01 am

When I bought the game I was hoping to get THE BEST GAMING EXPERIENCE, and I got it for a little while, then............ LAGS!!!!!!!!

I'm so frustrated -_-

the 1.2 Patch HAS TO WORK! THERE IS NO OTHER OPTION!

AND

to minimize the frustration that befall us PS3 players, Bethesda should give the first Skyrim's DLC for free for us!

That would be nice, but let's not push it. I'd be happy with a working copy of Skyrim =P

If they can get us the patch by next week and it fixes the major problems, I would take that as compensation enough.

There are tons of bugs on every platform. We just have it the worst.

They should send all their wives to my humble home for a good home cooked meal and extras.

Obviously I will accept only the cute ones and have others sent home if their not up to my standards.

This.
We should hold off on silly demands such as this. Just let me play my game.

That's asking too much. An apology and a working game is all I need to be happy.

An apology and working game? HAH! Who needs those when you can have free horse armour!

In all seriousness, if Bethesda actually spends some serious time patching this game so it can run as smooth as say, Red Dead Redemption, then that will more than satisfy me.
Even without lag, the framerate leaves much to be desired. It's just all over the place sometimes...

I don't want free DLC personally, I want the original game to be enhanced so it allows more enjoyable play. (bug fixes, balancing, smoothing out loading times)
All of these options are possible with a patch, even for a big game, it just takes time and effort- and hopefully Bethesda will work more on console fixes.

It is good idea but unlikely. More realistic they will charge a 10% discount.

They should certainly offer some goodwill gesture. DLC would be great.

After many years of game development I have doubts as to whether a couple of weeks can produce a fix. Just saying. Hoping to be proved wrong. But if I worked at Bethesda and we had a working fix I'd announce it ASAP so that everyone would stop hating us and give people the knowledge that the problem has been solved. Customer relations can sink or swim a company. And just now they are coming up for the third time.

The DLC will be called Skyrim: New Hammerfell, and it will corrupt your game save and make you regret everything.

This... supposedly they can't announce what the patch contains until it gets approved by Sony, which makes sense, but honestly, hiding their head in the sand is possibly the best way for them to avoid any conflict with law.

lol! that would be cool..but it's never going to happen.
No, I'd settle for clearing out the glitches--so I can start and finish "BLOOD ON THE ICE" [censored] it...
and fix the lag, so I don't have to listen to my boyfriend scream, shout, and rage quit...every. day.

yeah..I'll settle with that. Floppy dead dragons, fine. Naked hunters falling from the sky, fine. Dead bodies disappearing into the ground before searching, whatever. Just let us play the freaking game. :swear:

Not gonna happen.
Unless there's any legal threat they won't give away anything which could get them money - this IS Bethoursearmoresda afterall.

Yes, sure they will!

First they hide everything about the PS3 version pre-release.

Then the problems arise and they keep hiding behing vague PR tweets.

We are expecting a patch without having any idea whether it will work.

No acknowledgements, no real communication, no apologies.

I'll be surprised if they make the DLC available for PS3 to begin with, although I don't think many people will be interested after this.

At this point, all I can hope for is a working game. If Bethesda can't even do that then what's the point of getting DLC for free. It's like getting a new car without a working engine in it and their gonna give us some tinted windows for free. Great, I still can't drive the damn car.

Forget the DLC. I just want the game to work. Hell, I don't even need an apology from Bethesda, although them manning up and admitting there was a problem would be nice.

I just want the game to be playable again, so that I can know that I didn't spend $60 and 65 hours on an amazing game, only to be left high and dry halfway through with the worst case of blue balls ever.
