When I enter a city and someone pulls out a dagger and prowls towards a woman, it's time for action. He's been lightning bolted, decapitated, impaled from behind, crushed, shot through the eye with an arrow, and pinned to the waterway by an ice spike, by my count.

The main reason this is the first time for me is because usually I'm not paying attention and don't remember to cut him before it's too late.

I could have, but I thought it would have caused an in-game anomaly...now I know better. Still, if I had, I probably would have run both of them through, lol...

I walk in with my bow drawn every time. My bow is drawn by the time he pulls the dagger out.

My first playthrough when I got the game I managed to save her but on my second she died and I freaked out thinking I failed the mission. Glad I don't have to use option two of just to continue the story; I can't stand being a bad guy or being neutral (excluding the Civil War).
