I'm not talking about how we can change up the wings.

I'm asking if I buy the entryway, main house, and cellar, and fully furnish every option, is each of the three houses (up to THAT point) gonna be the exact same in all 3 homes?

Yes. But exteriors will also look different. It's not minecraft, it's a home mod from oblivion that was expanded upon. I'm happy. Gives me a goal to work towards on a new character, and the chance for experimentation with the different variations.

Yep, exact same. You can't customize the placement of furniture/decorations, or remove things once they've been placed.

Ok. once I remove the workbench from a room via the Drafting Table, am I ever able to bring it back and furnish that room some more?

Yes, you have the option to put the workbench back in later.

I dunno about ya'll but I'm keeping my workbenches right where they are until I have the respective room fully furnished. I don't wanna have to keep a checklist of what rooms need what furnishings.

Can each of the 3 houses you can build have different interiors or do they all use the same preset interior or can you design one yourself for each house individually?

They all use the same pre-set layout, so your entryway and main room will look the same (unless you don't build all the furniture). Each wing has a different layout.

The only choice you get is what wings and what furniture. The rest of the time is spent just clicking on yes to build everything. Its brain dead building stuff dlc. Yawn!

They look the same.
But you can add Wings to houses
And the Furniture.

So yeah..
