I was thinking about a character design, and was wondering if it were possible to pull off. Here's the gist:

Evil sorcerer who desires to rule all, and bend his enemies to his will, so that all bow before him. Having been attacked by dragons and reading up on the lore of Alduin the World Eater, He is not about to let them destroy that which he has worked so hard for. In order to defeat the dragons, he must seek out powerful artifacts to aid in his ultimately selfish quest. As such, he would be going after the Dragon Priest masks (is there a book in the game which mentions them? This may be the hardest, as I've only come across a few of them in my many hours of playing) and all the Daedric artifacts while gaining more power and knowledge himself along the way.

Generally, he has no interest in helping any piss-ant commoners, but is willing to assist if there is the possibility of powerful items to be found.

He may help the Stormcloaks as he believes it would fracture the Empire and pit the Nords directly against the Aldmeri Dominion which would be the next barrier to his ultimate goal. Joining the Dark Brotherhood is also a possibility, if only to try and destroy it from the inside due to the inevitable assassination attempt.

For other character concepts:

Race: I'm thinking Dunmer, possibly of Telvanni descent. Whether he is dragonborn or not, his ability to exploit the Thu'um would help greatly in his quest for power.

Skills: Pretty much all magic sans a couple. Maybe Speech up to Intimidate. I'm thinking of focusing on Lightning for damage, Conjuration, Illusion (fear, baby!), Restoration, and Heavy Armor (Steel Plate > Ebony > Daedric or Ebony Mail with either matching helmet or Dragon Priest mask...plus, gotta have a black cloak!)

I might put a few points into Enchanting or Alchemy, but I don't want to be spread too thin.

Thoughts? Suggestions?
