Hey Skyrim buddies!

I now have 3 houses and 3 women living in them. Buy a house and get a girl - buy a house and get a girl, hey works for me.

The Skyrim documentation says she watches over my home. Is this like a baby sitter for my house?
Does she do the dishes, or does she just get to sit around all day and watch TV? Wait, I don't have a TV.
Ok, does she sit around and watch the plants grow? She's got to be bored out of her mind.

And every time I come home, she's eating? What's up with that? It's going to be costing me a small fortune in food.
I've taken to stealing just to keep her in bread. And with all those carbs, before too long she'll be the size of my house. Then I'll have to take care of her until she dies of a heart attack from obesity.

I'm just not sure I like this idea. Do I get any other "services" from my housecarl, I mean before she bloats into a Horker??

Guess I should just marry her and be done with it.

My Carl in Whiterun always says "Are you lost?" when I walk in, like I'm some kind of stranger. Right... it's my own home for christ sake. So now most of my homes are decorated with the bodies of dead carls.

What also helps is stand in front of your house, wait until some bum comes up to make some generic bland comment and quickly enter the house. You will notice the bum follows you in the house to complete his nonsense. Quickly kill the bum and let his body accompany the dead housecarl. Repeat with a few guards and you have dead guards guarding your dead housecarl and other unlucky visitors. Before you know it you'll live in a nice and cosy graveyard and your carls are put to good use!

As far as I can tell they just sit in your room and watch you sleep. That's what Lydia does anyway. I do love how people follow you into your house to complete their nonsense. It's like "I don't remember inviting you to come in here....."

Eat, Sleep and thats about it, Wives on the other hand at least earn you some money. TBH I leave the housecarls at the homestead, last thing I want is them getting in the way when I'm out merking.
