Just wondering if it's possible to obtain all the latest updates etc. Without having the Internet?

I was concerned because with oblivion I went to someone's house, hooked up XBL and spent money downloading expansions , played them for a bit. When I got home I realise you HAVE to be connected to XBL to play them.
