Sorry if this has been talked about already. From what I have seen of all the interview videos it leads me to believe that all of Tamriel is open to exploration but my BIG question is can I do that under one faction or will I be forced to make 3 characters just so I can see ALL of Tamriel? If this is the case then the idea that I can only visit my own factions area and Cryodiil alone is very disturbing indeed!!! TES has always been about wide open exploration with no boundies on the content in the game. I'm the kind of person that likes to put my all into one character and make it the best I can. I played Aion for a wile and it has 2 opposing factions in it. I found that I could not make a toon for the other side and enjoy it because it felt like I was starting all over and I hated that feeling. So, that other part of the content was ruined for me and just unplayable! In that game you can visit most but not all of the other sides maps but you was alway under the threat of getting ganked because those other zones are PvP so never could get into the exploration part of it and that svcked.

Could somebody please confirm for me officialy if indeed my worste nightmare is true or can I rest in peace knowing they have stayed true to the TES games concerning exploration? Thnx!

There are faction locks. You will have to make 1 character in each faction to see all of Tamriel.

This will go downhill fast, yeah three characters.

it's not that big-a-deal. think of it as getting 3 ES games in one.
