Eyewear and Headgear question

Post » Tue Jan 11, 2011 1:00 pm

Anyone know if Eyewear (glasses) uses the same equipment slot as headgear or if you can wear a helmet and glasses at the same time?

I can't remember how it worked in FO3 and don't really want to reinstall it just to find out.

If they are two separate slots that makes Four Eyes a pretty attractive trait.

I want to use the Four Eyes trait but im worried that wearing glasses with helmets will look bad like it did in Fallout 3.

I hope they added more eyewear in this one, and hopefully they got some good gears that you can choose from to make your characters ensemble other then just Power Armor. My favorite was Vances Long Coat with Lucky Shades and T-Dogs Bandanna. Looked pretty sweet. OOOO OOO And hopefully more slots to like gloves and boots and stuff :(

This is going to be the trade-off with Four-Eyes... You finally get that cool NCR Ranger helmet with the nightvision facemask, and you have to take a PER hit bacause you can't wear glasses under it.

I remember that full-face helmets (such as the Power Helmet, the Raider helmets, for example) meant nothing else could be on your face (equipped, that is). However, I can accurately confirm that with the Xbox 360 version of Fallout 3, you could wear a Combat Helmet (which just covers your head, and others like it are hats, small helmets, ect) and also wear, say, Sunglasses. I know this because when I have my character wear Combat Armor, I would also put on my Lucky Shades as well, and look dashing. :P

I wore a talon company outfit w/helmet. And I also 'took' Three dog's shades after I slit his throat with Mister Sandman.
