No it shows that using the console can screw up the game. We are not "creating" a character, we are simply editing the face. Nothing else about the character changes. unlike with the console commands, we dont get the option to changes sixes or race therby limiting the amount of things that can go wrong.
And again, there is the solution of allowing us to edit our face and then re-applying visual effects to the character like glowing eyes and pale skin. That way we are editing our normal "base" face that we started the game with and not the vampiric features.
I must be explaining it poorly because you don't understand my point.
On the PC you can use the developer console to bring up the character creation menu anywhere, any time. This is the same menu used at the start of the game and the same one used in Riften on the DLC, it does not create a character it just edits your existing one. The only difference is that the one in Riften has disabled the ability to change race and gender.
Using the character creation menu as a vampire can cause issues such as losing the ability to feed, losing your vampire abilities and so on. My point with the PC developer console is that the adverse effects of using a character editer while being a vampire are known to exist.

Now what the game does when you're a vampire is instead of simply applying various buffs and debuffs to your character it flags your race as "vampire" which has things tied to it such as attribute loss in sunlight, etc.
So my Breton starts the game, he is a Breton. (Breton is displayed in menus)
He gets vampirism, he is now a Vampire. (Breton is displayed in menus)
He goes into the characer creation menu and becomes reflagged as a Breton but he
should be a Vampire. (Breton is displayed in menus)
