Hey guys. Just started playing Fallout New Vegas yesterday, bought it on launch day though. Great game with a different feel. Yes giant expansion pack esque but it's well worth buying for Fallout fans. Noting that I did play the first fallout and a bit of the second nice little references. Although I loved Fallout 3 mind you, better more varied voice actors for the side NPCs this time. And yes, ever since Morrowind Bethesdas writing has been going down in quality. Need to hire better/ old writers back! Anyways. It's a pretty buggy game but I''ll manage until another patch. The issue I've run into now is in the NCR correctional facility where if you dress as a Powder the front guy Dawes will talk to you. Problem is wether you pay or not he'll immediately attack you. Even if you pay and rush inside the guys inside other than the sherrif will immediately attack. Hope to see you guys fix these problems. Thanks.

Also faction dress can not disguise you from everybody. Guards, dogs and some important NPCs will be still able to detect you if you come too close.

I know. I'll look at that link but what I meant was the fact that he kept attacking after I paid him seems like a bug. He doesn't give any hints of playing foul that Obsidian makes very clear when it happens.

First time I played, I got vilified by P. Gangers at the beginning. Same thing happened to me: I came to gate, paid for entrance then got attacked when trying to enter. Yes, its somehow surprising and probably not how it should have work. What is probably happening is that dialogue initiates, you are offered chance to pay for entrance but then when you get closer you are identified as archenemy and attacked.

If your reputation is not too bad, you can enter.
