I know the game works on my pc because ive been playing it the last few days. But when i tried to start it up today when i click play game from the launcher i get this message "Failed to initialize renderer. Unknown error creating the gamebryo renderer." Ive been searching all over the internet for a fix but barely see this problem mentioned anywhere, I even did a complete uninstall and reinstall but its still giving me this annoying message, someone please help ive put around 90 hours of my life into this game in the last 6 days and i want to continue playing instead of that time having been wasted.

Try to reinstall DirectX. If that doesn't work, try to reinstall the graphic card drivers.

I got the error to stop by disabling my video card driver and re-enabling it, thank you for your help.

Im having a problem with the error but i tried to re-install direct x and re-install the graphic card drivers as said above by Freddo but it still shows the error so any help will be appreciated

(And this is only for the raw hardware & driver variations. Potential software conflicts are far more likely to be game play problems, and developers cannot test for all possible program loads.)

There are some old, or inadequate video solutions that cannot be used, no matter the Dx9 version or the graphics driver used, they are simply too far below the game's practical minimum level:
