Its funny because in the "Fallout remastered" thread I mentioned I'd like to see a Fallout anthology, like TES got.

Included is: Fallout 1,2, tactics, 3, and New Vegas. The GOTY/Ultimate editions for 3 and New Vegas.

All for the price of 50USD, which is 20 dollars lower than the TES anthology retail price which was 70USD.

Be on the lookout this black Friday, because TES anthology went as low as 30USD.

That Fat Man display case isn't new, is it?! I swear I've seen it before...

I have no idea brotha. It reminds me of the Halo 3 master chief mask that could hold your games

If they stop Fallout 3 from crashing and optimise it for Windows 7 I might buy it, otherwise they can go jump.

Well, "cold day in hell" and all that, i bet.

Still, works fine on my W7 x64 with two ini tweaks (bUseThreadedAI=1 and iNumHWThreads=2)

Yea, I rarely have any problems running F3 on 7 with those tweaks and a few mods, although I don't play it as much as the others.

I didn't say never. I haven't run it without a bunch of mods probably since release but it never crashed enough to make it a problem for me.

I have it quite stable on Win 8.1 and it is actually the most stable of all the Bethesda games . Oblivion and Skyrim is more likely going to crash.

Without those tweaks it crashes consistently every half-hour or so.

Though if i have load order that lasts that long without crashing, i consider it a victory :lmao:

And for me Skyrim is the most stable and best performing of BGS' games

I do not have the ini settings for FO3. I had them at one point and it was crashing a lot. I removed them and it is stable. I do not recall having a crash that was not mod related in 50+ hours. The mod related was testing out different mods and I missed a compatibility patch or it did not install correctly. The only INI part I kept was the enable multi core.

Skyrim I might get a crash once every 10 hours or so. Oblivion I am happy if I do not get a crash after 4 hours of play time.

New Vegas is likely in the 20+ hours before a crash.

Thanks but I'm painfully familiar with every known fix. My theory is that Fallout 3 just hates certain PC configs :bonk:

That's pretty impressive, it's my absolute least stable Bethesda game. I've heard others say that it seems to work better on Win 8 though.

Neat.

How come it doesn't include Brotherhood of Steel?
