Fallout 4 baseball bat - how large is it?

Post » Tue Jan 19, 2016 5:53 pm

Hey folks.

I want to create a realistic baseball bat from Fallout 4 for decoration. I thought about a black wooden one with spikes but I can′t find out what size such a bat would have in real life. As far as I know there′s only one standard size of baseball bats in the game. So could anyone tell me how many inches it would have?

Any bat that meets MLB regulations should do nicely.

Thnks for the answer. :D But I try to create the EXACT bat shape so I need the EXACT length. That′s not fun to measure and I hope I find someone with the ability to measure the exact length in inches.

Problem is that the length can vary, a bat intended for a Little Leaguer is going to be smaller than one intended for use by a MLB player. MLB players normally use custom bats and size could change as that player's tastes changed. For an example, Babe Ruth used a R35 Louisville Slugger, which was 35" long....a longer and heavier bat than most MLB players today prefer. Your best bet is to pick a favorite MLB player and find out what bat he is/was using then go with that.

There's a yardstick in game as a junk item, if you want to measure a bat in game metrics. Not sure it would matter since i'm not sure they keep a consistent scale on things.
