I would think a Fallout in China would be awsome. Eveyone spoke in Chinese,but the dialouge boxes would translate. Prehaps you could be a descendant of one of the American soldierrs invading China. I mean if America became so crazy,imagine what happened in China.

But yeah, the US probably had several times more nukes than the Chinese did...and hell, they wasted nukes on grocery shops...China probably glows in the dark right now...

I would hazzard a guess that China looks much like the US does, just with out a crap load of vaults all over. I doubt you would see China in game though, its not likely to grab sufficient interest.
Keep in mind that its possibly millions of ghouls, and any humans likely live in very remote locations that simply would never be targeted, things that arnt worth a bomb, like the Pit.

I'm guessing Mutally Assured Destruction wiped them under the mat.

I'd like to see a future game where a resurgent Chinese faction appears, maybe taking the place of the Enclave. Imagine they built up a war machine in the 200 years since and start invading America?

i don't think US had more N Bombs than china, because China and US Were the only remaining super powers on earth, and as fallout lore indicates everything as stalemate, both had equal number of Nukes.
I tought US was bombed first (china dropped the first bomb), because the Government was too busy with vaults, Annexing canada and their normal-useless Vigilante role in the globe.

china can be two things, a mutated jungle land, or a blown-up Hell hole.
they could have developed ant-nuke Air Shield as well, sapposing that the game happened in 2077...

Bombs were used elsewhere, but no one knows who dropped the first between the US and China.

Although this may have been a bad Fallout-wiki summery, but from the brief history of power armor the US army in the T51Bs were causing pretty good destruction in China when deployed, though earlier models were kind of bogged down. I'd assume they probably worse than the US on the urban areas, due to being more densely close together along the ocean, making nukable targets not so spread out, and the destruction caused from the power armor units years earlier. However, towards mainland they're probably fairing better from the radiation, unless fallout from the west blow in.

A friend of mine suggested something similar to that,but I would think that like in a America,the bombs made all the pre-war ideologies meaningless and many Chinese would even forget about America's existence. Just like with Moria Brown's terminal, where she wonders if China was fictional.

After thinking about it since posting this topic, I relized that the best chance for a significant Chinese presence in America would be the Shi in San Francisco. They were well on their way to developing their own Vertibirds,they had their own power armor, and even developed a plant that absorbs radiation out of its surroundings,plus their Chinese heretiege was intact.

Most likely the Expeditionary Force took Beijing then settled down and founded an Empire of some sort because there was nowhere else to go. By 2277 thier descendants would be racially and culturally more Chinese than American due to intermarriage with the local population....a traveller from the US would find it hard to tell them apart from the native Chinese Empires around them.

Perhaps the US presence in the post-war PRC would be more like the US presence in West Germany, with small enclaves of US Forces, surrounded by the wasteland Chinese.

Good point, but they were probably all destroyed with the war.

Also, due to how easy it is for US Culture, to move its way into a nation, I could more easily see any still occupied cities resembling more Saigon during the Vietnam War.

what about the pulse shield mention in Anchorage? Maybe it could protect some vital places (Like the anti nuke shield in Dune)
One thing is sure - China was hit hard or else they would have invaded a long time ago !
