Whenever I try to start Fallout 3 using steam, I get the start up menu(the one with options, data files, tech support, etc.). But when I press play, the menu closes and nothing else happens. I do not get any messages or any indication that something is wrong besides the game not starting. I am using windows 8.1, have an athlon 750k and r9 270x with all the latest drivers installed. Plz help

Also it would help us if you could run dxdiag.exe and post the full report in spoiler tags please.
