Fallout 3 Not Working on xbox 360 Console

Post » Tue Sep 22, 2015 1:16 pm

Hi I just recently bought Fallout 3 GOTY Edition on Xbox 360. I read the manual, it says put disc 2 in and install the DLC then after installing DLC insert disc 1 to play the Game. I installed the DLC the 5 addons, yet when I put disc 1 in it comes up with a pop up saying install add ons which I have and I cannot play the game at all. Plz Help

If wondering I have a 250gb Xbox 360 Slim.

It won't let me. I put the disc in it starts automatically then boom pop up saying with a question mark DLC did not install And it makes me install the DLC from disc 1 when I've already done that with Disc 2

Also it signs me out of xbox live when the pop up occurs.

Uninstall Disk 2 and start again with installing Disk 1. You need to go to the Dashboard and install it that way.

When I got FO3 for 360 I installed Disk 1 first and then Disk 2.

when its says X for 'Game Details' on the Xbox dashboard it keeps coming up with error code 8C230002 and something wrong with Xbox stores. I've tried whatever I can do. I think there's nothing I can do but give the game back and get something else.

Have you tried to search the error code using GOOGLE? It will return 1,100 results in about .35 seconds. Try this: https://www.google.com/search?q=error+code+8C230002&rlz=1C1GGGE_enUS515US515&oq=error+code+8C230002&aqs=chrome..69i57&sourceid=chrome&es_sm=93&ie=UTF-8

Unfortunately I tried researching it and following what it said on Xbox support forums. It still made no difference.

It could be the disk. Is the disk scratched, Try cleaning the disk.

Thank you Erzherzoghans for helping me. I've tried whatever I could do but its not working so I'm going to return Fallout 3 before it causes me anymore trouble.

Maybe try getting another copy of the game.

All it takes is one scratch/smudge to make the disk not working correctly, it just depends on where that scratch/smudge is.
