If you talk to Cannibal Johnson he will talk about Navarro and his Drill Sgt. Which he has a quite funny story about, one time he caught a soldier out of uniform and yelled he longest rant he ever heard.

Fallout 2 fans, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LjSnjKheGHg :goodjob:

Gotta love Chosen One references :whisper:

There are loads. Off the top of my head: much of the music; Marcus in Jacobstown; that singer in Novac who talks about Reno and the Wrights (iirc); the car from 2 turning up as a junked-out wreck; there are loads more but I forget...

The Highwayman is in NV? Where is it? I've gotta see this. Also I think the singer was talking about the Bishops.

A certain mutant in Jacobstown.

FO1 and 2 fans, you know who he is, and what role he played. :)

Same voice actor, too, though he was much more important and interesting before. :(

Also, trivia: If anybody can trace my avatar back to its original roots in the Fallout universe, +100 xp pts from me.

John Cassidy, one of my favorite companions. Who's daughter (Cass, so original xD) appears as a companion in New Vegas.

The voice actor for him (don't want to spoil the mutants name for the OP), has an EPIC voice. I wish I could have him as a follow. I love the classic muties. :)

Oh, and isn't your avatar a reference to Sulik? Sorry, haven't played Fallout 2 in a long time. ha ha

*edit* That's right, John Cassidy! I was paying attention to the skull, and started thinking of the tribal follower. ha ha

Man I miss that son of a gun. Something about that old man make him so awesome to have around.

Near highway 95, some way south of Novac. http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Wrecked_Highwayman for a more precise location.

I'm pretty sure I found one of those in my inventory after an... "interaction"... with the being in question in Fallout2.

I don't want to search the Wiki and "cheat". I'm stumped, although it seems like it's on the tip of my tongue. ha ha

ED-E has a bumper sticker on him before the optional armour upgrade that says "My child is an honour student at Roosevelt Academy" which is a reference to the ruined school in the Capitol Wasteland.

ED-E was also supposed to be sent to Navarro.

That lady in Novac who used to be a pilot, who said she only crashed once... you see that crash in FO2.

Don't wanna be rude, but the thread is about the first two games. Also, it isn't just a reference, the robot is from the CW.

FYI: The ballgag was Francis, not Marcus.

HINT:

John Cassidy repeatedly mentions that his father named him after a "mean sonofa[censored]".

I took the comma between Fallout 1 and 2 references and easter eggs in the topic to be two separate things, yeah it wasn't from 1 or 2, but it's a reference to 3. Sorry if my slightly off topic comment hurt your feelings.

Also, I would say that is is an easter egg for Roosevelt Academy because the school would have been destroyed 200 years ago and someone from the Enclave felt compelled to put a 200+ year old bumper sticker on ED-E for a little flair.
