There really isn't much point in this thread.
Maybe after a couple of weeks some people could formulate an opinion but thats being generous...

I'd say this would be a topic for after the release date of New Vegas, honestly you can't really form an opinion on something you have no experience with.

This.

But if the game is as good as we expect then it's probably going to be three times as good as Fallout 3.

Not much to say until we've played it.

f New Vegas is better than Fallout 3 that's awesome, but I like FO3 a lot and won't like it less if NV turns out to be 'better'.

Fallout NV will be better in my opinion, Better weapons, More weapons, hardcoe mode, New areas, Reputation, Gambling, Factions, Hopefully more balanced (No more powerbuilds)
My final point is iron sights, VATS is fun but when you have to use all the time it gets easy and boring

I personally cant wait for F:NV, I had it pre-ordered on the first day it was available to pre-order that should say it all lol

Bring on the inevitable Destruction and Epic-ness that will be F:NV! :gun:

Well you cant beat the game in fallout New vegas and continue couple interviews told us this but they warn us this time while playing the game that we are close to beating and we should go to other quests and if we just follow it to see and beat it we are sent to a load screen to load an old saved game... Guessing Dlc will be released later on but it was the same thing with fallout 3 you had to buy to continue which svcks... but i would guess F New vegas just because it improved everything heh

New Vegas is not out yet but from the info I have seen New Vegas hands down will be better then FO3.

1.hardcoe Mode
2.Damage Threshold (back)
3.Reputation System (back)
4. Original PA (T-51 and Advanced PA)
5. Multiple endings that show how what happens to the people and places (At least that's my take)
6. More weapons like the .50cal
7. Weapons Modes.
8. Gambling
9. Prostitution
10. I can get drunk again!
11. Traits (back)
12. Will have more references to the Originals

I think http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1120024-is-there-anything-in-fnv-that-you-will-miss-in-fallout-3/ will work for this discussion. :)

Besides how can anyone know which is better until they play both and even then opinions will be as different as we all are.
